ในระบบ IT Infrastructure ที่มีความซับซ้อนและต้องการการจัดการที่มีประสิทธิภาพ Prism Element และ Prism Central ของ Nutanix ได้รับการออกแบบมาเพื่อตอบโจทย์ความต้องการเหล่านี้ โดยทั้งสองส่วนทำงานร่วมกันเพื่อให้การจัดการคลัสเตอร์ในรูปแบบ Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) ซึ่งช่วยให้ผู้ดูแลระบบสามารถจัดการได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
- Prism Element
Prism Element เป็น Interface การจัดการที่มาพร้อมกับแต่ละ Nutanix Cluster โดยสามารถใช้งานผ่านเว็บเบราว์เซอร์ ช่วยให้ผู้ดูแลระบบสามารถตรวจสอบและจัดการทรัพยากร เช่น CPU, RAM, Storage, Networking ได้แบบ Real Time - Prism Central
Prism Central คือเครื่องมือจัดการในระดับสูง ที่รวม Cluster หลาย ๆ ชุดเข้าไว้ด้วยกัน ช่วยให้ผู้ดูแลระบบสามารถจัดการและตรวจสอบทรัพยากรทั้งหมดในองค์กรได้จากหน้าเดียว เช่น การควบคุมการตั้งค่าระบบ การวิเคราะห์ประสิทธิภาพของระบบ
Prism Element และ Prism Central สามารถทำงานร่วมกันได้ โดยการเพิ่ม Prism Central เข้ามาบน Prism Element และจากนั้น เราจะสามารถจัดการ Prism Element ได้จาก Prism Central และหากเราต้องการที่จะ Unregister Prism Element ออกจาก Prism Central หรือ Unregister Prism Central ออกจาก Prism Element สามารถทำได้ โดยไม่ส่งผลกระทบต่อการทำงานของ Virtaul Machine (VM) โดยวิธีการในการ Unregister สามารถติดตามได้จากบทความด้านล่างครับ
เมื่อเข้าไปที่ Dashboard ของ Prism Element จะแสดงการเชื่อมต่อกับ Prism Central ดังรูป
ตรวจสอบการทำงานของ Cluste ก่อนจะทำการ Unregister โดยมีวิธีการดังนี้
1. SSH ไปที่ Virtual IP ของ Controller VM ที่ Register อยู่กับ Prism Element
2. ใช้คำสั่งดังนี้
